Wandong - Heathcote Junction has an excellent kindergarten and primary school. Secondary school students travel to either the Whittlesea Secondary College, Broadford High School, Assumption College Kilmore or the International School Kilmore. School bus services operate to Wallan, Whittlesea and Broadford, about a 25 minute journey. A school bus is available to all secondary schools.
