A local newspaper called the "Whats News" is published monthly (except January) for distribution to Wandong-Heathcote Junction residents. Whats News contains community news and is published by the community, sponsored by advertisers and distributed by volunteers at no cost to residents. Copies are also distributed to Upper Plenty, Waterford Park, Whittlesea, Wallan, Kilmore, Broadford and Clonbinane.
