JULY 2018

WARRIOR NEWS

Winter has well and truly set in, with the fresh frosty mornings, making way for the sun to shine on for the rest of the day…. Well, this hasn‘t always been the case and we have faced some, atrocious weather conditions and have bravely battled through the games in true Warrior style.

This month we have played St Marys, Alexandra, Broadford, Yea and Seymour. July will see us playing Euroa, at our home ground on the 15th, Tabilk at Nagambie then we will be finishing the season off at St Marys in Seymour before semi-finals commence.

We have been selected to host the second semi-final (according to the fixture) at our home ground on the 5th of August.

Another couple of Club milestones were reached in June. Congratulations to Jed Lunn & Reece Coad for reaching their 100 games, fantastic effort!

A big thank you must go to, the tireless efforts of our Committee and our regular parent helpers. It is because of their consistent efforts, that we are able to get the children out onto the ground/court each week. It takes countless hours and many behind the scenes jobs to get them out there. Thanks again to all involved.

We are always in need more parent helpers to support on game days with the various jobs that are required, to ensure the kids make it to the field/court. Please see your Team Manager, Canteen or a Committee member to see where you are able to help out with any jobs that need doing. We seem to rely on the same helpers each week. Without these jobs being filled, we cannot get the kids on the ground. We are all there for the kids, so lets help them to get out and play. Good luck to all Warrior Teams, remember to ensure plenty of time to get your game and to travel safely. We would also like to thank our Club Sponsors, your continued support goes a long way for the kids.
